Aimee Smale, the British entrepreneur who established the clothing brand Odd Muse, has revealed that she didn't venture outside for days after breaking down in tears on camera just last week.

Moreover, the owner, whose brand is now valued at over £5 million, shared insights about the “difficult and costly” new challenge she is currently navigating.

Less than a week after she documented her first day out since feeling “exhausted” and “inadequate.”

The entrepreneur, who never envisioned herself managing a multi-million-pound fashion label, launched her brand at the young age of 22.

She grew up as a timid girl and left her £21,000-a-year administrative job to build her business from her bedroom during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020.

After recently relocating and grappling with the pressures of it all, Aimee once again took to social media to thank her fans for being “incredibly kind.”

Shortly after her emotional moment, Aimee stated: “Alright everyone, we are doing this today because I got out of bed.”

After a “wonderful day out,” Aimee noted that she encountered “so many girls who adore Odd Muse” and that they were “extremely kind” to her.

She added: “It truly brightened my day since I haven’t been feeling like myself lately.

“I visited a store, tried on some dresses, created some content, and I just want to show you my outfit today because these jeans are actually giving me a new personality, which always helps.”

The founder of Odd Muse, whose brand primarily sells structured co-ords, skirts, and dresses, showcased her £430 Danielle Khaite denim jeans and discussed her latest challenge.

Aimee expressed her belief in purchasing just one pair of “good jeans” and mentioned that she “can’t recall the last time” she bought a new pair of denim.

According to her, you “must invest in quality to achieve a good wash.”

She confirmed: “I am working on developing a denim line at Odd Muse; ask anyone on my team, it takes a long time, and achieving a good wash on a pair of jeans is a challenging and costly process.”
