Kwara United head coach, Kabiru Dogo, has expressed disappointment with his team’s 1-1 draw against Shooting Stars on Sunday.
The Harmony Boys rallied round to equalise late in the second half through Alao Mohammed after Taofeek Malomo put the visitors in front in the 40th minute at the Kwara State Sports Complex.
Former Shooting Stars forward Samuel Ayanrinde failed to convert a spot kick for the hosts in the early minutes of the game.
Dogo said his players wasted the chance to go ahead in the game.
He, however, assured that the team would improve in their subsequent games.
“The draw against Shooting Stars was a disappointment,” Dogo told the club’s media after the game.
“That wasn’t what we bargained for.
“I believe in the team; we will keep improving.”
Kwara United currently occupy 14th position on the table.
