CHRISTMAS may still be months away, but one fragrance fan has already unwrapped one of the most sought-after advent calendars money can buy and insists it was worth every penny.
TikToker @Rishi.j7 splashed out a jaw-dropping £215 on Harrods’ limited-edition 12 Days of Fragrance Advent Calendar and took followers through each drawer to reveal exactly what you get for the price tag.

And judging by the reaction, even the hefty spend was “insane value for money”.
The luxury countdown is packed with some of the biggest names in perfumery – from Jo Malone to Creed, Parfums de Marly and Roja.
But it was an exclusive bottle of Ex Nihilo Brompton Immortals, created specially for the Harrods calendar, that Rishi said made the whole splurge “worth it in my eyes, let alone the other eleven”.
The TikTok clip, which has already racked up thousands of views, shows off an eye-watering line-up of scents, from a 50ml bottle of Thameen Rivière to Jo Malone’s cult Myrrh & Tonka, plus a 30ml of Parfums de Marly Valaya.
Fans in the comments called the haul “unreal” and “the best fragrance calendar yet”.
The Calendar contains £1144 worth of goods, which means you’re saving a whopping £899.
But if you fancy one yourself, you’ll have to move fast.
Pre-orders for the £215 calendar have already sold out online – though Harrods has confirmed more will be hitting stores and H Beauty branches in September.

Christmas comes early
And it’s not just Rishi getting into the festive spirit.
Shoppers across Britain are already snapping up bargains months ahead of the big day.
Retailers including Selfridges, Sephora and Cult Beauty have already opened waitlists for their beauty calendars , while Lush sent fans wild by dropping its Christmas scent early this year.
Boots is even catering to bargain hunters with a Soap & Glory calendar at a fraction of Harrods’ luxury price tag.
Meanwhile, budget homeware giant Online Home Shop (OHS) says more than 5,000 customers have already started ticking off festive wishlists, with ‘Christmas’ now the fourth most searched term on its site, up 350% on last year.
From Santa cushions to gingerbread duvet sets and bargain pyjamas , shoppers are piling virtual baskets high in a bid to spread both the cost and the cheer , over the next few months.
Ashley Furness, the brand’s Head of Buying, explained: “This year, shoppers are planning ahead more than ever, driven by deal-hunting and avoiding last-minute stress.
“Our Christmas range has been flying off the virtual shelves in July and August and customers will need to be quick off the mark to avoid disappointment.”
With festive stock already vanishing in August and luxury calendars like Harrods’ selling out within days, it looks like Christmas 2025 is shaping up to be bigger, earlier and spendier than ever.
How to save money on Christmas shopping
Consumer reporter Sam Walker reveals how you can save money on your Christmas shopping.
Limit the amount of presents – buying presents for all your family and friends can cost a bomb.
Instead, why not organise a Secret Santa between your inner circles so you’re not having to buy multiple presents.
Plan ahead – if you’ve got the stamina and budget, it’s worth buying your Christmas presents for the following year in the January sales.
Make sure you shop around for the best deals by using price comparison sites so you’re not forking out more than you should though.
Buy in Boxing Day sales – some retailers start their main Christmas sales early so you can actually snap up a bargain before December 25.
Delivery may cost you a bit more, but it can be worth it if the savings are decent.
Shop via outlet stores – you can save loads of money shopping via outlet stores like Amazon Warehouse or Office Offcuts.
They work by selling returned or slightly damaged products at a discounted rate, but usually any wear and tear is minor.
