It all kicked off when backed up Olympian Anthony Fowler, who claimed his company Supreme CBD had “healed” his two-year-old’s tumour after he boasted about refusing chemotherapy for his child.
Trading Standards in – where Supreme CBD is based – probed the boxer’s claims and the products he sells including CBD patches, vape juices, “bath bombs” and even oils for cats and dogs.
Now a spokesperson has said that the case against them has finished after Anthony removed food products, which is likely to relate to CBD edibles on offer that are advertised as “super-strength”.
“A number of food items have been removed from Supreme CBD’s website following advice and guidance to the company to improve compliance,” said the spokesperson.
Although she has been let off the hook for now, Katie and her work with Supreme CBD is still being monitored by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA), which received the initial complaints and passed the issue onto Trading Standards.
The TV star is a paid brand ambassador for the brand along with other celebs like , , and even her old nemesis .
An ASA spokesperson said: “Whilst we have formally referred Supreme CBD to Trading Standards, we’re still continuing to monitor developments in this space.
“We’re assessing what next steps may be relevant and proportionate here, including the potential for further regulatory intervention.”
It all started when Katie repeatedly made unsubstantiated claims about Supreme CBD on social media.
It all kicked off when she shared a post that read: “Very serious chat with Serena Stregapede [Anthony’s partner] and Anthony Fowler about their two-year-old daughter who had a tumour in her leg, they refused hospital treatment and healed her themselves which is amazing.

“They was (sic) telling me all about Supreme CBD and how it works for fibromyalgia, arthritis, anxiety/depression any aches/pains or insomnia,’ she added, before posting a checkout code.”
Fans then blasted the former glamour model, branding her post “dangerous”.
One said: “It’s a big con. You know you are being a con artist”; “It does not cure cancer ffs!”
Another added: “It is irresponsible to suggest CBD would shrink a tumour like that. CBD used responsibly & in conjunction with other medicines can have huge pain relieving, calming properties etc. But no reputable CBD supplier would allow endorsement like this, it is illegal to do so.”
A third said: “Very serious chat to spread seriously dangerous anti-scientific s**** to people.”
Katie’s post was reviewed by ASA, with the spokesperson previously saying: “We have received complaints about posts on Katie Price’s X and Instagram accounts in relation to claims relating a food and/or food supplement to the prevention, cure and/or treatment of human disease.”
Back in April 2024, promoting the brand The Skinny Food Co.
She said in an video: “So here I am making my delicious coffee, with the caramelised biscuit Skinny Food zero calorie syrup. It’s fat free and sugar free too.
“And on top of that I absolutely love my Skinny Food porridge and guess what, it only has 262 calories. 14 grams of protein, and trust me so yummy.”
It wasn’t clear it was an advert, and she was seen as irresponsibly promoting a diet that fell below 800 calories a day and making unauthorised weight-loss claims.
