ENGLAND star Ivan Toney was taken into custody following an alleged headbutt incident and was escorted out of a fashionable London bar in handcuffs.

Footage captured the moment the £40 million player was apprehended in the crowded Soho establishment early Saturday morning.

Chaos reportedly ensued when a fan attempted to take a selfie with the 29-year-old forward.

A witness, who was out for drinks with his girlfriend, told The Sun: “He walked past a table of guys.

“One of them recognized him and exclaimed, ‘Oh, it’s him!’ while trying to put his arms around Toney's neck for a photo.

“Toney then said, ‘Get off me, get off me,’ and ended up headbutting one of the individuals.”

He added that the alleged victim was left with “blood streaming from the bridge of his nose.”

He might have thought they were trying to attack him in order to steal his chain or watch.

Witness

The witness suggested that former star Toney may have felt threatened by the group.

He remarked: “He’s a superstar—earning half a million a week in .

“He was wearing his and had a very nice watch on.

“He may have thought they were trying to assault him to take his chain or watch.”

He noted that police arrived within half an hour, stating, “We saw about five uniformed officers descending the stairs.

“They approached Ivan Toney's table and asked for his name.

“After he provided his name, they informed him, ‘You’re under arrest for assault,’ and proceeded to handcuff him.”

The onlooker mentioned that police were still stationed outside the club—100 Wardour St in Soho—when he and his girlfriend departed 20 minutes later.

A security guard in the vicinity during the early hours of Saturday reported seeing “a large number of police cars racing up Wardour Street.”

He added: “We usually see that around here, but there was also a lot of personal security rushing up the street.”

A 29-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of two counts of assault and one count of affray.

Met Police

A local bartender reported that police returned to the area the next day to gather more information.

The Ambulance Service confirmed that they dispatched an ambulance and a paramedic in response to reports of an alleged assault at 1:57 AM.

A spokesperson added: “We assessed three individuals. One patient was transported to a local hospital, while the other patients were discharged at the scene.”

A source close to the alleged victim indicated that he received treatment for facial injuries, including a broken nose and a fractured ring finger.

Photos reviewed by The Sun depicted him bloodied while receiving care at the scene.

The Met Police confirmed: “We were alerted to Wardour Street on Saturday following reports of an assault.
