Unity Cup: Chelle to invite 12 home-based players for London tourney

Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle will include no fewer than 12 local players in his squad for the Unity Cup invitational tournament.

Kano Pillars have already confirmed the invitation of their captain, Ahmed Musa for the four-nation tournament.

Musa will be joined by 11 other players from the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.

The likes of Nduka Junior, Sikiru Alimi, Papa Daniel Mustapha, Ifeanyi Onyebuchi and Adamu Abubakar are also expected to make the roaster.

According to SCORENigeria, Chelle want to use the tournament as part of his preparation for the African Nations Championship, CHAN.

Ghana, Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago are the other countries that will participate in the London tourney.
