NNL lifts ban on Barau FC fans, spectators now set for Dambatta Stadium return

The Nigerian National League (NNL) has lifted the ban placed on fans of Barau FC from attending matches at the Dambatta Stadium in Kano State.

This was contained in a statement signed by Ahmad Hamisu Gwale, Media Officer of Barau FC, on Saturday.

According to Gwale, the development was communicated in an official letter signed by the NNL Chief Operating Officer, Dalu Danlami Alanana, and addressed to the management of Barau FC.

“We acknowledge receipt of a letter from Barau FC dated 30th April, 2025, on the above subject,”;; the letter stated. “The Nigeria National League has granted their request.”;;

With the ban lifted, supporters of Barau FC are now cleared to attend the team’s next home fixture against Wikki Tourists, scheduled for Sunday at 3:00 p.m.
