Barcelona winger, Raphinha, has equalled Cristiano Ronaldo’s Champions League record following a late strike against Inter.
Raphinha is now level with Ronaldo for the most goal involvements in a single campaign.
The Brazil international thought he had scored an 87th minute winner, as Barca led 3-2 after going two goals down.
But Inter levelled in the 90th minute through Francesco Acerbi, before winning it in extra time thanks to Davide Fratessi’s goal.
Raphinha exits the competition with a tally of 21 goal contributions in the 2024â25 tournament.
Ronaldo had set the benchmark during Real Madrid’s victorious run in 2013â14, registering 17 goals and four assists over the course of the competition.
That campaign saw Los Blancos thrash rivals Atletico Madrid 4-1 in the final to clinch ‘La Decima’.
