UCL: PSG suffer another injury blow ahead of second leg tie with Arsenal

Paris Saint-Germain have been handed another injury scare ahead of their UEFA Champions League semi-final second leg tie with Arsenal.

The Parisians won 1-0 in the first leg last Tuesday at the Emirates Stadium.

Ousmane Dembele’s goal gave Luis Enrique’s side a first leg advantage ahead of the second leg in Paris on Wednesday night.

However, PSG returned to domestic action on Saturday, losing 2-1 away to Strasbourg.

PSG manager Luis Enrique made 10 changes to the side that defeated Arsenal in midweek with Joao Neves the only player to keep his place in the team.

But Lee Kang-in was among the PSG players to come into the team and was forced off at half-time with a shin injury as Desire Doue replaced him.

The South Korean looked in real discomfort after picking up the injury and was later seen leaving the stadium with a heavy limp, supported by two members of staff as he made his way to the team bus, Le Parisien report.

However, Lee will now be considered a major doubt for next week’s second leg against Arsenal in Paris.

This is coming after PSG on Friday during Tuesday’s Champions League semi-final first leg win over Arsenal.
