Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has admitted that Jurrien Timber could miss their Champions League semi-final second leg at Paris Saint-Germain next week.

The Dutch defender was not included in Arteta’s matchday squad for the 2-1 defeat to Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday.

Arteta has now confirmed that Timber is out with a knock and might not make the trip to Paris in midweek.

“Confident? No,”; Arteta told a press conference.

Timber has recovered from an operation on his anterior cruciate ligament to emerge of the the standout players this season for Arsenal.

The former Ajax man has two goals to his name.

If he is unable to make it, Ben White is expected to be drafted to play right-back against PSG.
