Transfer: Super Eagles midfielder to join Swish club, Young Boys on two-year contract

Nigerian midfielder, Papa Daniel is on the verge of completing a move to Swiss club Young Boys, DAILY POST reports.

Daniel has shone for Niger Tornadoes in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, this season.

The 23-year-old has racked up three goals and three assists in 21 league appearances for the Niger Tornadoes.

His impressive displays has caught the eye of young boys, according to Africa Foot.

Daniel’s impressive form for Tornadoes also earned him an invitation to the Super Eagles for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe in March.

The playmaker once had a stint in Europe with Turkish club, Adanaspor.

He terminated his contract with Adanaspor after four months of unpaid wages.
