‘Could be the first 10 seconds’ – Tommy Fury sends fierce warning to opponent Kenan Hanjalic ahead of comeback fight

TOMMY FURY has fired a warning shot at his opponent as he prepares to make his boxing return.

With the nickname ‘TNT’, Fury has threatened his Bosnian opponent with a dynamite finish in the opening round ahead of their bout.

He told DAZN: “I just want to get into the ring and settle into the fight to be honest.

“I’m in no rush. If I could get a few rounds it would be good because I’ve been out of the ring for so long.

“It’s kind of nice being under the lights as long as I can.

“But obviously, if I see the openings, then it could be the first 10 seconds and I’m going to take it. It just depends what happens.”;

Fury has not fought since his y over YouTuber KSI back in October 2023.

The Briton beat the CEO on the ‘Prime Card’ at Manchester Arena, although the result resulted in mass controversy.

KSI felt particularly aggrieved at the decision, kicking one of the screens in frustration.

Fury had been linked with rematches against KSI and , who he defeated in earlier in 2023.

However, those negotiations fell through, and he is to take on Hanjalic instead, with the Bosnian holding a record of 5-1.

Fury himself is 10-0, including a points victory at Stadium against Daniel Bocianski on the undercard of ‘s scrap with .

“I think he’s good,”; Fury said of Hanjalic.

“At the end of the day he’s a good Eastern European fighter.

“He’ll come and be strong, but at the end of the day the skill, movement and speed I’ve got is more than enough.

“If I can do half of what I’ve been doing in the gym on fight night then I think he will be in for a shock.

“And if I box how I know I can box – and use all the tricks and tools that I’ve got – openings will present themselves.

“I’ve no worries about that. I’ve just got go in there and do what I do

“Slip and slide, nice shots, hard shots, and openings will come. And then I’ll just take them.”;
