BABYMONSTER’s Rami To Sit Out Upcoming Tour Stops + Go On Hiatus Due To Health

Published on May 10, 2025 at 02:08 AM

BABYMONSTER’s Rami has temporarily halted all activities due to her health.

On May 10, YG Entertainment announced that Rami would be going on a temporary hiatus based on the recommendation of a doctor. According to the agency, Rami has been undergoing treatment since BABYMONSTER’s debut, but because “her symptoms have not improved significantly,”; it was recently recommended that she temporarily halt all activities and focus on her recovery.

As a result, Rami will be sitting out all of BABYMONSTER’s upcoming scheduled activities, including the remaining stops of their “HELLO MONSTERS”; tour of Asia.

YG Entertainment’s full announcement is as follows:

Hello, this is YG Entertainment.

Due to health reasons, BABYMONSTER member Rami will not be able to participate in the upcoming stops of the group’s Asia tour, starting with their Singapore concert on May 17 and continuing through the end of June.

From the beginning of [BABYMONSTER’s] debut, even as her health worsened, Rami continuously underwent treatment at the same time as her activities because she wanted to repay her fans’ love. However, her symptoms have not improved significantly, and the doctor recently recommended that she temporarily halt all activities because she is in need of full rest.

Regardless of the doctor’s recommendation, it is a given that the health of our artist is our top priority. It is for this reason that Rami will not be participating in the remaining stops of the Asia tour, so we ask for your generous understanding.

BABYMONSTER is carrying out their first world tour just a year after their debut. The members, who wish to successfully wrap up meeting their Asian fans even amidst this unexpected situation, are currently working harder than ever to improve the quality of their performances, which have been reorganized as six-member versions, in addition to their newly added cover songs.

We ask that you give lots of support to the six members who are currently doing their utmost to fill the empty space left by Rami. Additionally, we would be grateful if the fans could also send their warm encouragement to Rami so that she can quickly recover her health.

Wishing Rami a speedy and full recovery!
