Battle between Wagatha rivals renewed as Rebekah Vardy lands Netflix show – as Coleen Rooney eyes similar Disney+ deal

THE battle of the Wagatha rivals is set to kick off again after Rebekah Vardy netted a major starring role in a Netflix documentary.

The streaming giant is in talks with her husband about a show chronicling his footballing life.

A source said the new show will help with Rebekah and her legal costs following the high-profile Wagatha Christie libel trial

But I can reveal a large part of it will also feature as well as their luxurious homelife.

And if it sparks an interest among viewers it may lead to a spin-off At Home With...series.

The move comes after it emerged that her arch rival, was set to sign a similar deal for her show with .

It has been known for months that Netflix had a new documentary about Jamie’s incredible journey from non-league footballer to champion in the works.

But it was thought to be almost entirely football-focused, and barely feature Rebekah or any kind of domestic insights.

ATVinsider said: “have taken such an interest in the Vardys because of their natural love of all things controversial.

“Plus, they saw how the David Beckham documentary was such a hit, not just because it touched on football but because of the scenes of domestic life that came with it.

“Though this will be on a different level to the Beckham documentary, they want to tap into some of that with the Vardy show, and it’s undoubtedly a real coup for her.

“Getting so much ‘airtime’ on Netflix gives her a real platform – and scope to branch out.”;

The documentary, set to air later this year, would go some way to helping Rebekah with her legal costs .

But it’s unlikely to diminish the rivalry between them...

Netflix were approached but said: “No comment.”;
