Published on May 21, 2025 at 06:55 PM

Kwara United and Abakaliki FC will clash in the final of the 2025 President Federation Cup, DAILY POST reports.

Giant-killers Abakaliki FC booked a spot in the final after a 5-4 penalty shootout win over Ikorodu City.

The fiercely contested semi-final ended 0-0 in regulation time.

In the day’s other semi-final fixture, Kwara United stunned five-time champions Rangers 1-0 at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos.

Wasiu Alalade scored the winning goal three minutes after the break.

Goalkeeper Suraj Ayeleso was the standout performer for Kwara United, making a number of crucial saves to deny the Flying Antelopes.

Kwara United and Abakaliki FC will both be aiming to win the President Federation Cup for the first time when they meet in the final later this month.
