Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) side, Abia Angels have terminated the appointment of their sporting director, David Chibuzo Silva.
The club made the announcement in a statement on the social media.
The reason for Silva’s disengagement was not stated by the club.
“The management of Abia Angels Football Club of Aba has terminated the appointment of Mr. David Chibuzo Silva as Sporting Director with immediate effect,”; the statement reads.

“‎The club hereby informs all stakeholders, including clubs, individuals, the league board, and NWFL Premiership club owners, that Mr Silva is no longer authorized to act on behalf of Abia Angels Football Club of Aba.”;
Abia Angels failed to qualify from the NWFL Super Six playoff tournament.
They finished the 2025 NWFL campaign in fourth position with 23 points from 14 matches.
