Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti, is set to leave the club following this weekend’s LaLiga clash with Barcelona.
This was revealed by football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, via his X handle on Friday.
Romano wrote: “Carlo Ancelotti and Real Madrid will part ways with formal exit steps to follow after El Clásico. It’s over.
“No issues on extra-season salary as Ancelotti never created any problems on that.
“The Italian coach will get a huge farewell as legend and then... Xabi Alonso, in.”;
Alonso has also confirmed he is leaving Bayer Leverkusen at the end of this season.
“The club and I have agreed that these two last games will be my final ones as Bayer Leverkusen coach,”; Alonso said.
A defeat to Barcelona will all but rule out Madrid from the title race.
