Netflix’s upcoming film “Husbands in Action”; has confirmed its cast!
On May 8, Netflix announced the cast lineup, which includes Jin Sun Kyu, Gong Myoung, Kim Ji Suk, Yoon Kyung Ho, Kang Han Na, and Lee Da Hee.
Directed by Park Kyu Tae, known for “6/45,”; “Husbands in Action”; is a comedic action film that follows the ex-husband, Chung Sik, and the current husband, Min Seok, who unexpectedly team up to rescue a wife kidnapped by a criminal organization.
In “Husbands in Action,”; Jin Sun Kyu and Gong Myoung reunite as the ex-husband and current husband, teaming up once again after their collaboration in “Extreme Job.”;
Jin Sun Kyu plays Chung Sik, a dedicated Drug Squad detective who practically lives at the police station. After arresting the leader of a drug cartel he’s been investigating for years, Chung Sik learns that his ex-wife, Si Nae (Kang Han Na), has been kidnapped. Determined to rescue her, he embarks on a dangerous mission.
Gong Myoung portrays Min Seok, the younger, more gentle current husband. A veterinarian, Min Seok joins Chung Sik in the risky mission, driven solely by his determination to save his wife.
Kim Ji Suk plays Do Joon, the leader of a high-tech drug cartel. Yoon Kyung Ho portrays Yong Gang, the head of another gang trying to take back his territory from Do Joon, adding further tension to the plot.
Kang Han Na plays Si Nae, the wife kidnapped by the cartel, who remains defiant despite the danger. Lee Da Hee stars as Hye Ran, Do Joon’s wife and a central figure in the drug trade, marking a new direction in her acting career.
