Governor Uba Sani announced the death of Alhaji Ramalan Yero, father of former Governor of Kaduna State, H.E. Alhaji Muktar Ramalan Yero
Governor Uba Sani wrote on his verified Facebook page:
“It is with a heavy heart, yet deep gratitude to Almighty Allah (SWT), that I received the sad news of the passing of Alhaji Ramalan Yero, father of H.E. Alhaji Muktar Ramalan Yero, former Governor of Kaduna State.
“Alhaji Ramalan was a respected traditional title holder, religious leader, and elder statesman. He is remembered for his dedication, hard work, and his devotion to community service. He was turbaned as the Turakin Dawakin Zazzau.
“With his passing, the Zazzau Emirate has lost a voice of wisdom, Kaduna State has lost a statesman, and the Muslim Ummah has lost a pillar of strength and guidance.
“We pray that Allah (SWT) forgive his shortcomings and grant him Aljannatul Firdaus. May the Almighty also grant H.E. Ramalan Muktar Yero and his family the strength and patience to bear this irreplaceable loss.”;;
