COPS have confirmed human remains found in a search last month belong to a mum who disappeared 20 years ago.
Malgorzata Wnuczek, from , vanished on her way back from work in May 2006 at the age of 27.

This comes after police conducted forensic tests on human remains found in shrubland off Great Central Way in Leicester in October.
At the time, , but said they had not yet identified the remains.
Now, Leicester Police have confirmed they belong to Malgorzata, who has been missing for two decades.
Specialist officers made the grim discovery while searching land off Great Central Way – a walking and cycle route near The River Soar.
She had not been seen for nearly 20 years and a probe into her disappearance failed to find any trace of her.
The national was last spotted catching a in Sunningdale Road to travel into Leicester after work on May 31, 2006.
Two days before boarding that bus, Malgorzata, known as Gosia to her loved ones, to her – that was the last they heard from her.
After not hearing from their daughter, her , who live in Poland, reported her missing to the Polish authorities the following month.
Malgorzata had a daughter named Ola, who was just three at the time of her mother’s disappearance.
She lived with Ola and her husband in the Knighton Fields area of Leicester after arriving in England in July 2005.
A search of scrubland near Great Central Way started on September 30 after Brit cops received information from police in Poland.
Detective Superintendent Jenni Greenway, the senior investigating officer, said: “First and foremost, I’d like to express my deepest condolences to Malgorzata’s family.
“While this news has ended almost 20 years of uncertainty and not knowing where Malgorzata is, I know it won’t provide closure or end their ongoing grief.
“The investigation into Malgorzata’s death remains very much open and is ongoing.
“We remain in contact with our colleagues in Poland – who I’d like to thank for their ongoing support – and we’re continuing to liaise with them as our investigation to understand what happened to Malgorzata progresses.”
Malgorzata was last seen getting on a bus in Sunningdale Road, Braunstone Frith, to travel into after work on May 31, 2006.
Her heartbroken family in , who refer to her as Gosia, last heard from her via text message two days before she boarded the bus.
Ten years after she vanished, in 2016, her loved ones made a joint appeal with police for information, but it failed to turn anything up.
A £10,000 reward was offered by police, but only seven people ever responded.
In June 2023, Polish police provided information to the Special Operations Unit (EMSOU) which resulted in searches of the River Soar.
Police divers spent days scouring the River Soar for personal possessions or potentially a body – but nothing was found.
During the 20-year-long hunt for the missing mother, a 39-year-old man was arrested in Greater on suspicion of assisting an offender and perverting the course of justice.
He was taken into custody in 2023 but was later released with no further action.
Detective Superintendent Greenaway said: “It’s never too late to help and I’d like to take the opportunity to again ask for anyone who can assist us to get in touch.”

Officers remain in contact with Ms Wnuczek’s family and are continuing to provide support to them.
They have asked that their privacy is respected while the investigation continues. Police also remain in contact with KWP Bydgoszcz in Poland.
Police also confirmed a file is being prepared for HM Coroner.
