A three-year-old girl has been taken to the hospital with serious injuries following a horrific dog attack.

The child was attacked by the dog at approximately 12:50 PM in Ealing, West London, on September 24.

Emergency services quickly arrived at Rectory Fields and transported the young girl to the hospital for “serious injuries to her leg.”

The dog's owner fled the scene, and no arrests have been made so far.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police stated: “Officers are looking into an alleged dog attack that took place around 12:50 PM on Wednesday, September 24, in Rectory Fields, Ealing.

“A three-year-old girl was taken to the hospital by the London Ambulance Service, where she received treatment for serious injuries to her leg.

“It is believed that the owner of the dog left the scene prior to police arrival. No arrests have been made at this time.”
