Fans all saying the same thing after Marseille boss Igor Tudor is spotted on pitch during Tottenham counterattack

MARSEILLE manager Igor Tudor was spotted on the pitch during a Tottenham counterattack.

The French side were taking on Spurs in their final Champions League Group D game.

Tudor could be seen a good yard or two on the pitch as Tottenham countered
Kane charged forward before Hojbjerg scored the winner which knocked Marseille out of European competitions this season entirely

Both sides needed to win to guarantee a spot in the knockout stages of the tournament.

At one point, it looked like Marseille would have Tottenham‘s number, with ex-Newcastle defender Chancel Mbemba heading home before half-time.

But second half strikes from Clement Lenglet and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg completed Spurs’ turnaround and secured top spot in the group.

But as Tottenham striker Harry Kane lead the counter attack for Hojbjerg’s winner, Marseille manager Tudor could be seen on the pitch wildly waiving his arms.

And Tudor’s outburst has all fans saying the same thing: the Croatian wanted to stop the counterattack himself.

One said on Twitter: “Tudor knew how dangerous that last counter was.”

Another tweeted: “Igor Tudor’s on the pitch, he thinks it’s all over…”

A third said: “12 vs 11 with Igor Tudor.”

Marseille finished one point behind third-placed Sporting, who lost 2-1 to Eintracht Frankfurt on Tuesday.

The French side had the advantage in the head-to-head with the Portuguese side, winning both games.

And their goal difference was superior.

After the game, Tudor fumed: “We deserved to win… There was too much noise, they didn’t hear what I was saying…”
