Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag, has hailed his Tottenham Hotspur counterpart, Antonio Conte, ahead of Wednesday’s Premier League clash.
Both coaches have not faced each other before during their managerial careers.
During his press conference ahead of the match, Conte said Ten Hag “did very well with Ajax, for sure.
“He has taken a great job with United. United is one of the best teams in the world and he’s trying to bring his idea onto the pitch.”
When Ten Hag faced the media on Tuesday, he returned the compliments.
“He’s a fabulous manager, winning titles and trophies in the Premier League, Italy and you can really see his signature in the match from his team.
“That’s a big compliment I think,” Ten Hag said.
