Manchester United do not need to worry about their goalkeeper, Andre Onana’s fitness as the injury he sustained on international duty is ‘not serious’, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Onana suffered a shoulder problem during Cameroon’s World Cup qualifier 3-0 win over Mauritius on Friday night but it doesn’t appear to be serious and he is expected to be fit in time to play for Man United against Everton next Sunday.
Recall that Onana was forced off after 81 minutes as Cameroon beat Mauritius.
The Man United keeper appeared to injure his adductor muscle as he stretched out his leg to prevent a shot going past him during the encounter.
The 27-year-old received treatment on the pitch for four minutes and he was able to walk back to the dugout without any assistance.
Cameroon are due to play Libya on Tuesday but it is not known whether Onana will be fit enough to play.
