CYNTHIA Erivo’s Dracula has been plunged further into chaos – after tomorrow’s matinee performance was quietly axed.
The Sun revealed last week how stressed and admitted they weren’t sure whether the final afternoon show of the run would continue.

Insiders today confirmed the matinee had been scrapped, with all remaining tickets taken off sale.
“The whole thing has become an absolute farce,” one theatre source told The Sun.
“Last week there were going ahead and now it has been axed.
“It’s disgusting because people have spent money on tickets, not counting travel and probably hotels and now it’s been axed.
“Ticket holders have been told they can exchange their ticket for another day but that doesn’t feel like it’s good enough. People could still lose money.”
Furious theatregoers who discovered the matinee had been binned today have started to vent their ire online.
One wrote: “This is the second time my show has been cancelled, and it’s honestly unacceptable.
“At this point, I’m not even going to try and rebook. I’m pretty disgusted with how this has been handled, and I don’t want to keep paying for a production that clearly isn’t reliable.”
Another commented: “Shocking. What a mess this production has been. Contempt for audiences.”
Insiders lifted the lid on the drama behind the scenes of the production last week.
The show – which sees Wicked star Cynthia, 39, playing all 23 parts – has been blasted by a whistleblower who said the show was in disarray.
They told The Sun: “There have been endless headaches.
“Cynthia is a big Hollywood star, so you could forgive her for having some diva moments.
“But there has been so much chaos behind the scenes.
“Cancellations at the last moment put so much stress on the people working to put the show on that it’s causing migraines.
“No one knows from one day to the next whether a performance may or may not go ahead.
“To work with that level of uncertainty is difficult.”
Cynthia faced further criticism two weeks ago after two Saturday performances of Dracula were cancelled.
The following day she clocked up a personal best at the London marathon.
Ticket holders were only informed of the cancellation three hours before the matinee performance was due to start.
Fan forums dedicated to reviewing West End shows were packed with angry fans.
“Cancels two shows one day, runs a marathon the next isn’t exactly a great way to endear a performer to their paying public,” one person commented.
Another added: “Cynthia doing the marathon would’ve been planned in advance, so yesterday’s shows should never have been put on sale,” while a third wrote: “Looks like she’s spent more time preparing for the marathon than she did preparing for Dracula and getting her lines under her belt.”
