Six sections of the organised Torcidas were allowed back in for the 2-0 win over at the weekend and they certainly brought the noise.

In a video released online, an entire end of the Neo Química Arena appeared to be shaking as thousands of fans bounced up and down.

Mainly wearing black shirts, the fans created a remarkable image which rippled around the ground.

Supporters can be seen swaying from side to side in their masses as they dance and chant during the game.

The scenes create a tremendous illusion with an ocean of bodies taken away by the joy.

Separate footage from before the match shows hundreds of lines of fans jumping up and down with their hands on each others shoulders as they move across the street towards the stadium.

This was rewarded with a third straight league win and clean sheet.

Despite the victory, which was sealed with a goal from flop , remain locked in midtable after 31 matches and sit 10th.

They beat over two games in March to win the Paulista, getting over the line at home in the second fixture with a 0-0 draw.

That sparked huge celebrations with a massive set of fans letting off flares.

The Sao Paulo Football Federation accepted a ruling from Brazil’s Public Prosecutor’s Office to punish the actions.

Entry of fans was controlled via monitoring flags, clothing, banners, and objects with ultras branding.

It is far from the first time that fans have been at the centre of unwanted attention after a ban in 2023 for homophobic chanting.
