BRISTOL CITY have revealed grand plans to build a stunning new centre for its foundation.

confirmed that an application has been sent in for work at Filwood Playing Fields in the south of the city.

The area is around two miles away from the club’s Ashton Gate stadium with the project aiming to “create new opportunities for local people of all ages and backgrounds.”

Perennial outfit City – – will base their Robins Foundation at the Sports and Education Hub.

They have promised to upgrade the outdoor space with improved grass pitches, two artificial ones, and a multi-use games area.

Concept images looking from a new car park show a modern building design with high, panelled windows.

The club’s white and red colours fade into each other on a futuristic blocky exterior.

It is said that the space will be accessible for the wider community to use.

The club also released plans for another multi-use pitch and Cruyff Court – a special five-a-side pitch – to be included.

Play areas for children have also been listed on the blueprint with an indoor sports hall and classrooms once you enter.

There will also be room for conferences, functions, and a cafe.

City add that it will have a new clubhouse for Mendip Broadwalk Club.

They opened their glossy High Performance Centre training ground just outside Failand in 2021 and are aiming to finally get into the Premier League.

City had looked to be promotion contenders under Gerhard Struber but he was sacked after falling down the table in 2026.
