THE “devastated” family of a 13-year-old boy who died in a horror hit-and-run have offered tribute as a man and a woman are charged.
Emergency services were scrambled to the scene in Flitwick, , on Friday after receiving reports a car had ploughed into three teen boys.

Two of the boys had been riding a bike and the other a scooter when the motor smashed into them, said.
One of the three teens was tragically pronounced dead at the scene, despite the best efforts of medics.
He has since been named as 13-year-old Noah Campbell, with his grieving family issuing a heartbroken tribute.
Noah’s family said: “Above all else, Noah cherished spending time with his friends and family; they were the heart of his world.
“He was a talented and versatile sportsman. While football was his favourite sport—playing for many local teams—he was a gifted all-rounder who excelled in rugby, cricket, and .
“Outside of organised sports, Noah stayed active and adventurous; he loved challenging himself at the gym and spending time at the bike park.
“Some of his happiest memories were made enjoying attending Liverpool FC and Town FC matches alongside his dad.
“We would like to thank everyone for their kind words and support during this incredibly difficult time. We are utterly devastated; Noah’s death has left a hole in our lives that will remain forever.”
The other boys with Noah were rushed to hospital to receive treatment for serious injuries.
Jamie Fountain, 24, of Fir Tree Close, Flitwick, has since been charged with causing death by careless , said.
He has also been slapped with an additional charge of causing death by careless driving while over the legal limit for alcohol and .
In relation to two boys who were injured in the horror smash, Fountain was additionally charged with two counts of causing serious injury by careless driving.
Fountain received further charges of failing to stop at the scene of an accident, failing to report an accident and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.
Ellie Ireland, 23, of Wingate Drive, Ampthill, Bedfordshire, was also charged with conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.
They have both been remanded in custody to appear before Luton Magistrates’ on Monday.
One of the two boys injured in the fatal smash remains in hospital in a serious condition.
The other was treated for serious injuries and has been discharged, confirmed.
Shona Searle, of the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire serious collision unit, said: “This incident has sent shockwaves through the small community of Flitwick and the surrounding area, and we maintain a community policing presence around the scene for reassurance.
“While we understand the strong feeling associated with the loss of a young life, and the serious injury of others, we would ask that people do not speculate on the circumstances of the situation.
“The families of the victims, who we are supporting through family liaison officers, have requested that their privacy is respected at this difficult time.”
