A BEEFEATER pub and Premier Inn hote could be demolished to make way for 200 new homes.
The Travellers Rest and in Carlton Avenue, North London, are earmarked for demolition under plans lodged with Harrow Council by hospitality giant Whitbread PLC.

The site is opposite Kenton Underground Station.
Developers want to build four blocks on the site, ranging from four to seven storeys high.
The scheme would include 109 flats, with a mix of one, two and three-bedroom homes, as well as 103 co-living units made up of private studios with shared and living areas.
A new bar would also be created on the ground floor of the co-living block.
If approved, the project will deliver 35 per cent affordable , which council officers called “a welcome boost” to local supply.
But the plans have sparked a backlash from locals.
Harrow Council has received 76 objections, including a petition signed by 35 residents.
say the scheme would lead to “excessive over-development” and pile pressure on surgeries.
One resident said the proposals would “destroy a much-loved public setting for people to meet each other socially, exchange views [and] form friendships”.
The Elmwood Area Residents Association warned: “There will be over 400 residents.
“This will impose a massive additional burden upon local facilities.
“The two nearest GP surgeries are both known to be unable to offer timely appointments to their existing patients and this application will exacerbate the existing problem severely.”
Whitbread said removing the hotel was partly due to the recent approval of the 140-bed Garden House hotel on St Johns Road.
officers have recommended the plan be approved.
Harrow Council’s Planning Committee will make the final decision on September 25.
