Bayelsa Queens defender, Glory Ubong Edet has been included in the CAF Women’s Champions League Team of the Tournament.
The right-back was the only Bayelsa Queens player named in the tournament’s Best X1 by the Confederation of African Football.
Ubong Edet played a key role as the Prosperity Girls finished in third position on their maiden appearance in the competition.
Bayelsa Queens also claimed the Fair Play award in the competition.
Hosts AS FAR won the competition after thrashing Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa 4-0 in the final.
The Moroccans dominated the squad with six players, while Sundowns had three players.
Tanzania’s Simba Queens, who finished fourth, had one players in the Team of the Tournament.
