PULLING your pants down and lying across a bar would get you booted out of most drinking holes – but not on the apres-ski scene in Andorra.
Liam, 18, is preparing for the “bum slap” drinking challenge in the Underground Bar at the Pas De La Casa resort.

He downs a long drink while a gorgeous barmaid smacks his bottom with a wooden paddle.
Each thwack sees the raucous crowd roar with delight, and the Derry student pumps his glass as he finishes to cheers.
After pulling up his boxers and jeans, Liam declares: “I thought it would hurt more — the drink was very strong!”
Until this year, daring punters would have had their bum cheeks set on FIRE, but after and , the bar’s owner, a man called Fish, has called time on the fiery hi-jinks.
That has not, however, stopped holidaymakers from lining up to try out the new crazy drinking games.
Near the bar you can also take part in the infamous “dentist chair” drinking challenge — sitting back as you attempt to down a litre of holiday cocktail Sex On The Beach in under ten seconds . . . to get it free.
Otherwise, it is 20 euros — and most people fail.
‘It’s always lads trying to outdo each other’
But that has not stopped Luke, 23, from the . He is determined he can do it — but takes 23 seconds to empty the bottle and has to cough up the cash.
Up in lights on the leaderboard is the fastest time for the week — a staggering four seconds.
The challenges are overseen by bartender Caitlin, 26, from Gtr , who laughs as she tells The Sun: “It’s always lads trying to outdo each other.
“We do get some girls having a go, but it’s mainly the blokes. And the bum slap challenge? The boys love it.
“Some ask for me to hit them harder, and they come back multiple times a night. They love getting a smacked bottom. The whole thing is really Benidorm in the .”
This is Caitlin’s first season, having done several seasons in , and she has fallen in love with the ski town of Pas De La Casa, in the eastern Pyrenees between France and . She says: “Everyone here is so friendly and I’ve made friends with lots of customers. It’s a real home from home. People come here to let loose.”

More than 80 per cent of ’s income is from tourism, so it is vital the locals keep people coming back year after year.
Compared with France, here is a bargain, with half-board accommodation on offer from £750 per person and a week’s lift pass from £300. Fish, 55, originally from Formby on Merseyside, has worked in the resort for 11 years and the biggest difference he has seen is that Americans have suddenly realised how cheap it is to ski in .
He says: “We get lots of American tourists coming now because it’s much more affordable, and we have good snow.
“Most tourists come here for the snow and because they know we have a really fun apres-ski scene. Resorts in France can be considered a little bit square, and expensive, whereas here we’re relaxed and just want everyone to have fun.
“We want tourists. We want them to enjoy themselves, and we like to make sure they do.”
Just up the road from games bar Underground is another happening boozer, Milwaukee, which is a longtime favourite with the holiday crowd.
Its British owner Mel tells us: “We’ve been here for 35 years and have become a staple of Andorra because people enjoy the atmosphere we offer. “There’s great skiing and a really lively apres-ski scene at night.
“Every Monday night we have a bar crawl come through the doors, which is always great fun. We get a lot of Brits, Irish and then people from and France as well.

“We often see people year after year — sometimes people tell us they came to Pas De La Casa five or ten years ago, and they’re excited to be back. It’s a home from home for a lot of people. There’s something for everyone here really.”
Another lively night in Pas De La Casa is at Soul Bar, just off the ski pistes. Inside, a DJ is banging out tunes while the crowd dance and continue to drink, spilling out on to the snow outside.

Making the most of the party is Miles, 23, from Manchester, who has decided Andorra is the only place he wants to have his ski from now on. “It’s f***ing boss here,” he says between swigs of .
“Everyone is really friendly and the apres is amazing. I usually go to French resorts but, compared to this, they’re really boring.
‘I skinny-dipped in the snow – It was freezing’
“It’s been a banging trip. The DJ is unbelievable, the snow is better and the apres is always booming here. Apres ski is always more fun than a summer drinking holiday.”
And it is not just in town that the party is raging — it is also kicking off up the mountain at Coll Blanc. It is standing room only here — but that includes on the tables, where tourists compete to win bottles of Champagne with their tabletop dancing skills.

The first winners are a group from who have been throwing their shapes since DJ Harry King cranked up his decks.
Shannon, 29, has come with mates Gavin, 28, Ben, 28, Sarah, 30, Brian, 30, Colin, 29, and Jack, 29, to Andorra for the first time.
She declares: “It’s just unbelievable, there is nothing I can compare Andorra to. We’ve been skiing in France and , but Pas De La Casa puts them to shame.
“The snow is incredible, the apres is just something else. We’re so glad we came.”

The next winners of the tabletop caper are a family group from Glasgow — who made a beeline for Pas De La Casa after their 18-year-old son fell in love with the resort on a previous jaunt. Dad Ryan, 46, mum Victoria and son Brody brought pals Lachlan, 18, and Alana along with them for the wild party.
Ryan says: “Brody told us how good it was here, and he’s not wrong. We’ve spent our entire time here dancing.”
And everyone enjoying the wild mountain party is keen to tell us their tales of crazy revels in the freezing snow.
Ollie Foot, 19, from Reigate, , was celebrating his birthday during The Sun’s visit, and he couldn’t resist showing off.
“I skinny-dipped in the snow,” he boasts.
“It was freezing. But I can’t think of a better place to have my birthday. Who doesn’t want to dance on the tables in the snow.”
