A prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Joe Igbokwe, has stated that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) is not present in the ongoing gubernatorial election in Anambra State.
According to DAILY POST, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is currently overseeing the gubernatorial election in Anambra to determine who will lead the state for the next four years.
The election features participation from the ADC, All Progressives Congress, Peoples Democratic Party, All Progressives Grand Alliance, Labour Party, and other political parties.
However, in response to the turnout of party members, Igbokwe asserted that the ADC was missing from polling units and wards.
In a mocking tone, Igbokwe suggested that soon the ADC, a party embraced by members of the coalition of opposition leaders plotting to unseat President Bola Tinubu in 2027, would begin to "cry rigging."
“I hear that ADC is nowhere to be found in any polling unit or ward in Anambra State.
“Soon they will start shouting 'Rigging, Rigging, Rigging.' Just so you know,” he posted on his Facebook page.
