



Peter Obi, Labor Party Presidential candidate in the last election, has mourned the passing of leader of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement, Prophet Samuel Adefila Abidoye.
FLYINGEZE BLOG reports that prophet Abidoye died Sunday morning at about 10:00 am at the age of 103 in his Ilorin home, the Kwara State capital.
Reacting, Obi on his X page, said Prophet Abidoye was an outstanding and a committed servant of God who touched millions of lives positively across the nation and beyond.
“I have just received the sad news of the passing on of the Spiritual Father and Chairman of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, Prophet Samuel Adefila Abidoye, at the age of 103.
“His death has left a big vacuum, not just in his denomination, the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, but in the entire Christendom andour nation Nigeria.
“I commiserate with the entire Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, the Christian Association of Nigeria, the government, and the people of Kwara State over his irreplaceable loss. May God who called him home, grant him eternal rest.”
