Shadow and Bone is one of the shows and movies on Netflix to watch this week
It’s a new week, and it brings us a lot of excellent content. Whether you want thriller or fantasy, there are shows and movies on Netflix for you.
There is one release that has been the talking point for many people for months. It’s one of the most highly anticipated TV shows across all streamers and networks, an adaptation of a book series that has fans excited.
This week also brings some content for families and for children. It’s possibly the perfect time as the world continues to stall in reopening plans and kids start to get fed up with the same things over and over again.
It’s time to break down the top five shows and movies on Netflix to watch this week.
Shows and movies on Netflix: Shadow and Bone
We have to start with the most anticipated release of the year. It’s been a long time coming, and when we finally got that April 23 release date, the cheers could be heard around the world. Yes, it is all about Shadow and Bone.
The fantasy series is based on the books by Leigh Bardugo. The series will amalgamate some of the books, including The Six of Crows, while also correcting some wrongs from the books. One thing Bardugo admits is that her novels were initially written from her experiences of the world and that meant a lack of diversity at first but has grown since. The show changes that considerably.
Shadow and Bone has an outstanding cast and is full of beautiful graphics. It’s time to delve straight into the Grishaverse.
There’s also the Afterparty for those who want a little more from this world when you’ve binge-watched the series.
