Kenneth Omeruo has insisted that the Super Eagles have no choice than to beat the Warriors of Zimbabwe, FLYINGEZE BLOG reports.
The Super Eagles are in a precarious situation after they could only salvage a draw from last Thursday’s clash against
Lesotho.
The West Africans will need maximum points against the Warriors to get their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying back on track after the disappointment of the 1-1 home draw against Lesotho.
Omeruo declared that they are in for serious business and can’t afford another disappointing result.
“We are on a redemption mission; a serious business is what we have come for. The pitch is poor but we can’t be bothered right now. We want to get into action and pick up three points,” the Kasimpasa defender told thenff.com.
Sunday’s (today) encounter at the Huye Stadium, Butare, will kick-off at 2pm Nigeria time.
