20 Ships Dock at Lagos Ports, Unloading Petroleum and Food Supplies – NPA Reports

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has announced that a total of 20 vessels are currently unloading petroleum products and essential goods at the Lagos ports, which include Apapa, Tin Can Island, and Lekki Deep Seaport.

In a statement issued on Wednesday through its official publication, Shipping Position, and shared with reporters in Lagos, the NPA outlined the nature of the ongoing port operations.

According to the report, the vessels are offloading a variety of cargoes, such as frozen fish, petrol, general merchandise, containers, bulk sugar, buckwheat, bulk fertilizer, bulk urea, bulk gas, and bulk gypsum.

The agency also revealed that two additional ships have arrived and are awaiting berthing, carrying bulk wheat and containers.

Meanwhile, the NPA indicated that 20 more vessels are expected to arrive at the Lagos ports complex between November 12 and November 14, with shipments that include general cargo, buckwheat, bulk sugar, base oil, aviation fuel, diesel, gas oil, bulk urea, containers, and petrol.
