FURIOUS West Ham fans turned on David Sullivan after their club plunged into the Championship.

Almost the entire London Stadium chanted “You sold our soul for this s**thole” at the co-chairman, who made an early escape from the directors’ box.

The former Wolves, Tottenham and boss, 52, said: “It’s not about me, it’s us as a club, we are in a tough place and West Ham has to go back in the Premier League.

“But now we have to go through this period of sadness, understanding the frustration and anger of the fans, and rightly so, we have to thank them more than anything.”
