DONALD Trump warned Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei “should be very worried” last night amid reports that peace talks had been axed.
US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff was due to travel for a as America’s huge warship “armada” closed in on the terror state.

But the US president is believed to have been angered by Iranian refusals to discuss anything but a deal to limit their Doomsday nuclear programme.
Iranian officials were last night scrambling to reschedule the talks fearing – or even Khamenei himself.
Trump wants wider talks including , its terror sidekick states around the region and the crackdown on protesters believed to have claimed 36,500 lives.
And his patience appeared to run out last night as notoriously slippery Iranian negotiators quibbled about the format and location of the discussions.
Trump told NBC News last night that he was still backing brave protesters and described their defences “a mess” following US Stealth Bomber strikes which blasted their atom sites in June.
He said: “I want peace in the Middle East. If we didn’t take out that nuclear, we wouldn’t have peace in the Middle East.”
His recorded interview was aired as US officials reportedly said nuclear talks with Iran in Oman on February 6 had been cancelled.
US negotiators were believed to have pulled the plug in the face of Iranian demands to limit the format of the talks.
An Iranian official reportedly claimed talks will be limited to nuclear issues and claimed “non-nuclear issues” were jeopardizing talks.
Tensions spiked again a day after a US warjet shot down an Iranian drone flying towards the 500 miles off the Iranian coast.

Donald Trump’s military chiefs confirmed an F35c jet fighter blasted the Shahed drone out of the sky as it zeroes in on the giant warship.
The Shahed-139 unmanned craft taken out by a fighter launched from the deck of the huge carrier when it “aggressively approached” the carrier with “unclear intent”.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said on Tuesday that he had instructed the country’s foreign minister to “pursue fair and equitable negotiations”.
But – and possibly leadership figures including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei – unless all his demands are met.
An Iranian official was last night reported to have accused the US of changing its position every moment.
Amid further confusion last night, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi later said to have insisted talks were still on, scheduled for 10am local time in Omani capital Muscat.
Iran’s regime was also exposed last night after a hard-line Revolutionary Guard-linked news outlet laid bare its chilling blueprint for war with America – and boasted it could “win”.
A five-stage plan published by Tasnim, mouthpiece of the feared IRGC, spelled out how Tehran believes it could bleed the US, terrorise allies and choke the global economy into submission.
The fantasy war plan starts with US strikes on Iran’s nuclear and military sites – then explodes into a regional firestorm.

at American bases across the Middle East, drag its terror proxies into the fight and flood US defences with sheer volume, The Telegraph reported.
Targets named include key US hubs in Qatar, Kuwait, Iraq, Syria and the Gulf, with Tehran openly threatening any country that dares help Washington.
The regime even bragged about using cyber attacks to hit power grids, transport systems and financial networks in a bid to sow chaos and turn allies against America.
But the most dangerous threat is economic blackmail.
Iran says it would move to cripple the Strait of Hormuz – the narrow shipping lane carrying more than a fifth of the world’s oil – sending prices soaring and markets into meltdown.
A senior Khamenei crony boasted: “We can impose restrictions against the United States, France, Britain and Germany in the Strait of Hormuz and not allow them to navigate.”
Western military experts say the plan reeks of desperation and wildly underestimates US firepower.
Even Tasnim admits Iran cannot win a straight fight, instead banking on dragging the conflict out until Washington gets tired.
That gamble looks reckless as Trump piles on pressure and US forces surge into the region.
Military sources say any Iranian move on Hormuz or US bases would trigger overwhelming retaliation, devastating the regime’s infrastructure and leadership.
