THE results of President Donald Trump’s annual physical are in – and docs say he is fully fit to serve as Commander in Chief.

Ahead of his 80th birthday next week, Trump is the oldest person ever to be elected president and his personal doctor has ruled him to be in “excellent health“.

But in the detailed memo released by , U.S. Navy Captain Sean Barbabella – physician to the president – revealed some cracks beginning to show.

The American leader has been shaking hands as well as rubbing shoulders, sustaining “soft tissue irritation” on his hands due to “frequent handshaking”.

Barbabella noted this was as a result of Trump taking aspirin – an explanation the White House has previously given for the visible discoloration on the president’s hands in the past.

He also had “slight lower leg swelling” but the condition had made an “improvement from last year.”

Trump was diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency after appearing with swollen ankles and legs.

Following Trump’s visit to the Walter Reed National Military Medical Centre on Tuesday, the report showed he weighed in at 238 pounds and had a blood pressure of 105 over 71.

And his resting heart rate was 73 beats per minute.

His results were slightly elevated from just 12 months ago, when he weighed 224 pounds and had a blood pressure of 128 over 74.

As well as aspirin, he is also taking the cholesterol control drugs rosuvastatin and ezetimibe.

Despite the minor ailments, Barbabella said: “President remains in excellent health, demonstrating strong cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and overall physical function.”

Following his appointment on Tuesday, Trump posted that everything had “checked out PERFECTLY” on social media, despite the White House waiting to release the detailed results until Friday.

The president has touted his results on the assessment for years, consistently boasting that he “aced” the test.

The report also said that the president demonstrated “strong cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and overall physical function,” despite his “demanding daily schedule”.

Barbabella noted Trump was “fully fit to carry out all duties”, including his regular “high-level meetings” and “regular physical activity.”

As for preventative care, the doctor wrote: “Preventative counseling was provided, including guidance on diet, recommendation to take a low-dose aspirin, increased physical activity, and continued weight loss.”

His health was described as “broadly normal” after all his lab results returning within normal bounds.

“Scarring of the right ear consistent with prior gunshot injury” was also noted in a reference to the 2024 shooting at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania.

The results summarised Trump’s cardiac age as “approximately 14 years younger than his chronological age” – an estimate that was consistent with the president’s October check up.

He also scored 30 out of 20 – or “within normal limits” – on the Montreal Cognitive Assessment, a common test of cognitive health.
