DONALD Trump berated Benjamin Netanyahu in a blistering verbal attack after Israel’s renewed strikes on Lebanon – telling the PM “you’re f***ing crazy”, according to US sources.

In the expletive-laden call, Trump demanded that Israel call off its attacks to salvage volatile peace talks with Iran.

The president also yelled “what the f*** are you doing?” and “everybody hates Israel” in the fiery exchange between the two leaders, per three sources cited by Axios .

Trump reportedly told Netanyahu he helped him avoid jail – likely a reference to the prime minister’s drawn-out corruption probe, which the president has urged Israel to drop.

After the tense phone call, Israel suspended its proposed strikes on Beirut and withdrew troops descending on Hezbollah strongholds in the city.

Trump later hailed “very productive” talks with both Netanyahu and Hezbollah leaders, and said that the warring neighbours had agreed to scale back fighting.

“Israel agreed to stop shooting at them. Let’s see how long that lasts – Hopefully it will be for ETERNITY,” he wrote on Truth Social.

The Lebanese embassy in confirmed Hezbollah’s acceptance of the US ceasefire proposal.

Trump also characterised his talk with the Israeli PM as good-natured, despite claims of the heated exchange.

He wrote: “I had a conversation with Bibi Netanyahu today, asking him not to go into a major raid of Beirut, Lebanon. He turned his Troops around. Thank you Bibi!”

But Netanyahu was more coy after the call, hinting that Israel could still strike and that it would continue to occupy southern Lebanon.

He claimed on X that he told Trump that “if Hezbollah does not cease attacking our cities and citizens, Israel will attack terror targets in Beirut.”

Peace talks with Iran have meanwhile been re-launched at a “rapid pace” after the blip in negotiations.

Trump said that representatives are back at the table and that and extend the fragile ceasefire would be agreed “over the next week”.

He told ABC News: “There was a little glitch today, but I turned that one around very quickly, as you probably noticed earlier.”

Earlier on Monday, between Washington and Tehran over Israel’s renewed offensive.

State TV claimed the situation in Lebanon had become a key point for maintaining the pause in fighting, adding that “this ceasefire has been violated on all fronts including Lebanon”.

Coupled with an exchange of “defensive strikes” between the US and Iran over the weekend, Iran’s sudden peace talks withdrawal put the ceasefire on its last legs.

then demanded the complete withdrawal of Israeli forces from occupied areas of the Hezbollah stronghold.

Tehran said: “No dialogue will take place until [its] views on this matter are met.”

The regime also vowed to completely block the Strait of Hormuz in retaliation for fresh US strikes on Iran.

This came just days after Tehran previously said certain ships would be allowed through.

On Monday, Iranian chiefs blasted ‘s decision to relaunch its campaign on Hezbollah camps in the Lebanese capital.

Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchi warned that the US and Israel were “responsible for the consequences of any violation” of the ceasefire “on all fronts”.

It comes after the US blasted Iranian military sites over the weekend in “self defence”.

Central Command claimed Tehran shot down a US MQ-1 drone over international waters and also accused the regime of attempted strikes on vessels in the strait.

Strikes on Iran’s Gulf coast “eliminated” Iranian air defences, a ground control station and two one-way attack , US Central Command revealed on X.

An infuriated Islamic Regime hit back with revenge strikes targeting a US base in Kuwait, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said.

US forces intercepted two Iranian ballistic missiles targeting the base, according to the military and added that no American personnel were harmed.

Trump vowed to make a “final determination” on the war in the ahead of talks in Situation Room on Friday.

But negotiations stalled with the US president sending tougher terms back to Tehran over the weekend.

Taking to Truth Social, Trump blasted his Democrat opponents for hampering his chances of a truce.

He wrote: “Iran really wants to make a deal, and it will be a good one for the U.S.A. and those that are with us.”

Following the latest US weekend blitz, the IRGC warned “if the attack is repeated, the response will be completely different”, according to Iran’s Tasnim news agency.
