A MAN has been charged after a two-year-old girl was allegedly attacked by dogs at a park.

were called to Raphael Park in Romford, London, at about 12:25pm on February 2 following reports of an injured child.

A 63-year-old man from Romford has been arrested in connection to the alleged dog attack.

Acting Chief Inspector Charlie Routley, of Havering Safer Neighbourhoods, said: “This has been a thorough into two serious incidents in our community.

“Allowing a dog to be dangerously out of control is a criminal offence.

“My thoughts remain with the young victim and her family, and I wish her a continued and full .

“I would also like to thank the members of the public who came forward and contacted us with information.

“Your support and cooperation have been invaluable in progressing this investigation.”

Emergency services arrived to the scene where the young girl was left requiring hospital treatment.

Days after the incident, the police seized two “rottweiler-type “.

A man was arrested on February 14 in connection to the incident.

He has also been for another incident that took place in Bedfords Park, another park in Romford, in September 2024.

The man has now been charged with three offences under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991.

He is due to appear at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court in March this year.

The force said that their thoughts are with the girl and her family, wishing her a full recovery.

It warned that allowing a dangerous dog to act out of control was a criminal offence.
