THOMAS FRANK cannot catch a break.
From his recent sacking by to his own chairman criticising him on an anonymous online fan forum, the Dane has been on a run of bad luck.

Back in 2016, Frank, 52, quit as Brondby manager after the club’s chairman was revealed to have called for his exit under the name ‘Oscar’ online.
Having finished third in the league and qualifying for the the following season, the Dane had been warned by the hierarchy that the season needed a title challenge.
But the club saw a poor start to the season – losing three of their opening league games.
They were also brutally dumped out of Europa League qualifying in a 6-1 defeat to the Greek side, PAOK.
Over the winter break, when Frank’s side struggled to fifth and were facing another season without silverware, a new account surfaced on SydSiden Online, a Brondby fan forum.
Under the name ‘Oscar’, the account criticised Frank and the sporting director, while calling for a new coach.
Which is anything but unusual for a fan forum.
Only it was revealed that the comments came from none other than chairman Jan Bech Andersen, who had set up the account under another name.
Former Brondby midfielder Martin Ornskov said: “It was really quite shocking for the players, let alone for Thomas.
“To be stabbed in the back by your own chairman is unbelievable. We really felt for Thomas, as he was a good coach and a really great person.
“He was inexperienced as a manager, but he always gave his best for the club.”
After the media fallout, both Frank and Bech Andersen stepped down from their positions.
But Bech Andersen later reclaimed his spot and remains there today.
That year, Frank left Denmark to join then side Brentford as assistant coach.
Two years later, he then went on to become the boss before joining Spurs in 2025, following the departure of .
But with Frank’s side falling to 16th and having failed to secure a single league win for Spurs since late December 2025, he was sacked.
The , with names like Robert De Zerbi and being floated.
