The 31-year-old was then accused of further, more serious charges after another victim was identified.

The former Louisiana teacher will now stand trial for a total of 25 charges, including first-degree rape.

If convicted, Noel could receive a life sentence in accordance with state law.

Authorities have not revealed the exact ages of the victims but at least one was in the fifth grade.

This would likely mean they are either ten or eleven years old.

The second set of charges included ten counts of indecent behaviour with juveniles and two counts of having child sexual abuse material.

She has also been accused of unlawful communications and harassment, as well as using a computer to solicit a minor.

Noel is now being held at St. Martin Parish Correctional Center, records show.

This is not the first time a teacher has been accused of wildly inappropriate behaviour with pupils.

Earlier this week, .

Chloe Rose Castro was sentenced to 20 years to life of Sex Offender Intensive Supervision Probation (ISP) after having a sexual relationship with a sixth-grade boy.

The 29-year-old will also serve three years in community corrections before probation.

Appearing in mugshots wearing pigtails, she must also register as a sex offender for life.

The victim will also receive $14,000 in restitution.

Castro was taken into custody after the victim’s parents notified the Arvada Police Department back in October 2024.

They handed over evidence that showed the former social worker engaging in an inappropriate relationship with their child.

An affidavit revealed the child’s parents discovered inappropriate messages between their son and Castro.

When the boy’s parents tried to take his phone from him, the child quickly logged out of all his accounts and changed his passwords.

“There is no sentence that I could ask for which will give the community their trust back in Jefferson County Public ,” the prosecutor said in court.

“There is not a sentence that will take away the trauma this child suffered.
