The £25 boyfriend pyjamas have caused a frenzy on social media

The retail giant has brought out two pairs of pjs celebrating Gilmore Girls, which ended 18 years ago.

Fans of the cult series have already been leading the way to the high street giant (or following) to get their hands on the new Stars Hollow-inspired collection.

And the range starts from just £10, meaning you’ll have plenty of money left over for coffee, coffee, coffee.

The £10 short sleeved pyjama top is made in a soft cream shade with a relaxed fit and features coffee cup graphics.

The crew neckline keeps things classic, while the back shows off a fun graphic print with the iconic “Gilmore Girls” logo in a pink oval and banner design.

And it can be paired with the £15 matching coffee-cup print bottoms to complete your loungewear look.

Whether you’re team Lorelai or Rory, the PJs bring Stars Hollow vibes to your downtime.

But it’s the £24 Gilmore Girls Boyfriend Pyjama Set, available in sizes XXS to XXL that shoppers seem to be most excited about.

The cosy pink PJs are already sold out on click and collect, so you’ll need to leg it to your nearest store to get hold of them.

Describing the sleepwear on the website, Primark bosses say: “Cosy nights in Stars Hollow style? Yes, please.

Gilmore Girls fans go wild as two stars of hit 00s show reunite for new festive project - 18 years after series ended

“This Gilmore Girls boyfriend pyjama set is made from a super soft fabric that feels extra snuggly for bedtime or lounging.

“Designed in a light pink shade, the set is covered in fun Gilmore Girls illustrations. The button-down shirt comes with long sleeves and a collared neckline, while the matching full-length trousers have an elasticated waistband for comfort.

“Whether you’re binge watching your favourite episodes or settling in for a good book, this set has cosy covered.”

And they’re causing a frenzy on social media, with videos racking up more than 100,000 views.

Showing them off in a short clip, delighted Scottish shopper Jenna said: “Calling all my fellow Gilmore Girls lovers, these pjs are an absolute dream! Soooo soft and cute!”

“I have never checked something out like my life depended on it before”, screamed someone else.

A third added: “Gonna cry, these are actually perfect.”

A fourth chimed in: “Never ran so fast to click and collect in my life … boyfriend pjs have taken over my wardrobe and I’m here for it.”

“I’m buying a pair for you to wrap up for me at Xma”, a fifth told a loved one.

Meanwhile, a sixth wrote: “Autumn is just gonna be completely gilmore girls themed at this rate and I’m here for it.”

And the timing couldn’t be more perfect, as Gilmore Girls fans have long associated autumn with the hit show.

It comes from an iconic exchange between Rory Gilmore and her grandpa Richard: “So what’s the verdict? I…am an autumn.”

It’s been 25 years since we first walked the kooky streets of Stars Hollow and met Lorelai Gilmore and her daughter Rory (also named…Lorelai).

Yet year-on-year, fans hit replay on the comedy drama television series – available to stream on Netflix and ITVX.
