SAM Thompson has opened up on fears he was dying after being rushed to medics with a horrifying health scare.

The former Made in Chelsea star revealed he thought he was dying “a couple of years ago” amid personal and mental struggles.

Sam made the confession as he opened up on suffering from consistent burnout as a result of his diagnosis with .

The TV star has detailed his dealings with ADHD and fear of death for a brand new children’s book, titled, You, Me and ADHD.

Getting very personal and candid, Sam exclusively told The Sun: “I spiral all the time… I don’t think I talk about that enough.

“Burnout is always going to be a part of my life — it doesn’t fully go away.”

He added: “I could do a bad interview and think, ‘What have I done?’ and turn it into something really negative — and not be able to get myself out of that hole.

“When I had it a couple of years ago, I thought I was dying.

“I was going to the doctor for everything, scans everywhere… I genuinely felt like I was on death’s door.”

Sam emotionally continued: “I know how it feels just before it happens… I can tell a couple of days beforehand when it’s really going to hit.”

The star is currently loved-up with new girlfriend Talitha Balinska.

He has previously opened up on how Talitha has helped him with his ADHD and played the supportive girlfriend role.

He previously explored his ADHD journey in a documentary he made for on the condition.

You, Me and ADHD by Sam Thompson is out now via Puffin and marks his first children’s book.
