BLACKPINK’s Rosé has just set an impressive new record on U.S. radio!
On May 13 local time, Billboard revealed that Rosé and Bruno Mars’ smash hit “”;; was still going strong at No. 18 on its Radio Songs chart (formerly Hot 100 Airplay), which ranks each week’s most popular songs by airplay on U.S. radio stations across all musical genres.
Rosé has now become the first K-pop artist ever to chart a song for 25 weeks on Billboard’s Radio Songs chart. (After “APT.”;;, the second longest-charting song by a K-pop act to date is BTS’s “,”;; which spent 19 weeks on the chart back when it was released in 2020.)
“APT.”;; also extended its own record as the longest-charting song by a female K-pop artist on Billboard’s Hot 100, where it held onto its spot at No. 20 in its 29th consecutive week on the chart.
Rosé similarly extended her record as the longest-charting female K-pop soloist of all time on Billboard’s Artist 100, where she maintained her position at No. 84 in her 30th overall week on the chart.
Meanwhile, “APT.”;; swept the No. 3 spot on both the Global 200 and the Global Excl. U.S. chart this week, in addition to holding steady at No. 15 on the Digital Song Sales chart and rising to No. 22 on the Streaming Songs chart.
Finally, Rosé’s solo album “”;; continued its run on the Billboard 200 as the longest-charting album by a female K-pop soloist, ranking No. 145 in its 22nd consecutive week on the chart.
Congratulations to Rosé!
