“I don’t know the rules of soccer, but I’ll support when I’m here.”
Prograis, 37, has been embroiled in a bizarre build-up to his fight with Benn, 29,
But he said: “I mean, look, it’s a conspiracy. I think it’s some type of conspiracy going on.
“Even when I got here, people were asking me, ‘Man, you sure you’re good? Want me to hold it?
“Even before I got here, I came way over here, I didn’t come over here for nothing. I came over here to fight.
“So even when I got, when I did arrive here, I went to dinner and stuff like that. People were asking me, ‘You, you good?’ You sure? They have a replacement.’
“I’m like, ‘No, I’m good, I’m gonna fight.’ In camp, something’s gonna happen in camp, that’s all but it was never ‘I can’t fight.’ I’m here for a reason.”
Prograis reveals he was just as bemused as others when internet conspiracists claimed he was pulling out of the bout.
He said: “I wake up and I got all these text messages and calls and stuff, and I’m like, ‘What y’all talking about? No, I didn’t pull out.’
“I didn’t pull out the fight, like I don’t know, for me, I don’t know what happened, but everybody asked me if it’s true and stuff.
“I have British reporters here, they asked me if this stuff’s true, and I’m like, ‘Nah, it’s not, I’m, I’m good, I’m fighting.’
“So for me, that’s why I came way over here, but like I said, when I got over here, people were still asking me, they kept questioning, ‘Oh, you sure you’re OK? We have a replacement.’
“They probably have a replacement right now for me, it’s like they’re wishing for me to pull out the fight so they can put their fight in there.”

He lost the original war in April but dominated the November rematch.
But in a shock turn of events, Benn has since to sign with UFC boss Dana White’s Zuffa Boxing.
He has penned a lucrative and – what Benn says is a too-good-to-turn down – one-bout deal worth $15MILLION (£11m).
But it has come at the cost of Benn being turned into public enemy No1 – a villain role Prograis reckons could see the son of a legend BOOED by British fans.
He said: “I really don’t care about it but at the same time that’s what I heard about it, people saying he might get booed.
“I mean, he kind of does have a lot of controversy behind him with the whole thing with Eddie leaving, Eddie with the $15million he’s supposed to be getting.
“So he does have a lot of controversy but at the same time, look, I can’t worry about that stuff. I’m worried about me.”
