PIMPLE patches are the latest skincare trend that has taken social media by storm.
Not only do they help your skin heal quickly from a breakout , but they now also come in a variety of different styles, from clear stickers to love hearts and stars.
And one woman decided to buy herself a set of pimple patches in the shape of different bakery items to keep up with the trend.
Kim, from the US, took to social media to show off her new skincare purchase, but it didn’t go quite to plan.
The brunette beauty warned that while the stickers looked adorable in the package, it didn’t have the same payoff once applied to the face.
Kim had used a cream cone style to cover a spot on her cheek and on her nose.
But she soon realised it looked like she had worms or necrosis covering her face.
“This is your sign not to get pimple patches that are f**king pastry party print,” she said.
“What the f**k.”
The beige coloured cone mixed with the dark ‘chocolate’ centre made it look like Kim had larvae coming out of her face, leaving her horrified.
“Out of all of the options. Thanks babe,” she captioned the post.
It wasn’t just Kim left shocked by how the pimple patches looked.

People were quick to take to the comments, claiming they thought she had a flesh-eating disease at first glance.
The clip went viral on her TikTok account @ hheykim with over 10 million views and 680k likes.
One person wrote: “I thought you had the flesh-eating bacteria going on.”
Another commented: “Girl, I thought there was some unknown entity eating away at you?”
“Ma’am, I thought that was an insect eating your flesh lmaoo,” penned a third.
Meanwhile a fourth said: “I was so afraid for you. It took me a while to realise those were croissants, not necrosis.”
