TWO people have been charged over the murder of an elderly couple who died after a horrifying arson attack on their home.
Eric Greener, 77, and his partner Sheila Jackson, 83, were in their home when at around 12.40am on July 15.

The tragic couple were rushed to hospital but both died from their injuries.
On Tuesday, Kevin Weetman, 34, and Kylie Maynard, 37, faced charges for allegedly starting the terrifying inferno.
Both were charged with two counts of murder, conspiring to murder, arson, and conspiring to supply a controlled Class A drug, cocaine.
Merseyside Police said: “They have been remanded into custody to appear at Magistrates tomorrow (Wednesday 17 September).”
A third person named Lee Owens has already been charged with two counts of murder and arson with intent to endanger life.
A previous probe determined an accelerant was used to start the fire maliciously.
Owens will appear in court on November 28.
Weetman, from Aigburth, and Maynard, from Everton, are the two new suspects – but police have arrested a total of seven people so far.
Detective Chief Inspector Steve McGrath said: “The investigation is progressing and two more people have now been charged in connection with this incident.
“I would like to take this opportunity to remind people that this is a live investigation, and to be mindful that anything posted or shared on social media could jeopardise proceedings, so please support us as we move forward with the case.”
He made a call to the public to provide any additional information they may have.
The police officer added: “We are still keen to hear from anyone who may hold information and not yet made themselves known to police.
“Do not presume that what you know is already known to us, contact us directly or anonymously through Crimestoppers and we will make the assessment.”
A joint between and Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service was initially carried out shortly after the alleged attack.
The elderly couple were pictured in July just days after their deaths.
In August, a schoolgirl was arrested on after a huge blaze ripped through a historic manor house.
Cops arrested a 14-year-old girl after the fire at Grade-I listed Woolton Hall in on August 19.
