The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has closed the Ameka Mining Site located in the Ezza South Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
CSC Babawale Afolabi, the NSCDC National Public Relations Officer, made this announcement in a statement released to the press on Wednesday.
He noted that this action is in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Solid Minerals Development.
